Constitution of A.P.B&O.C Workers Welfare Board:
The Government of Andhra Pradesh constitute the Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board under Rule 33-C (1) of Chapter V-B of A.P. Building & Other Construction Workers’ (RE&CS) Rules, 1999 read with Section 18 (1) of the Building & Other Construction Workers (RE&CS) Act, 1996 with the following members:- |
(a) A person nominated by the Government - Chairman |
(b) Two persons representing the State Government (i) Principal Secretary to Government, LET&F Department - Ex-Officio Member (ii) Commissioner of Labour - Member-Convenor |
(c) Two persons representing the employers - Member
(in consultation with the Organisations of the employers functioning in Andhra Pradesh) |
(d) Two persons representing the building workers - Member
(in consultation with the Organisations of the employees functioning in Andhra Pradesh) |
(e) One officer from Central Government; - Member I. Provided that at least one member of the board shall be a woman. II. The term of the Board shall be three years from the date of publication in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette. |
The 1st Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board was constituted vide G.O.Ms.No.41 of LET&F Dept Dt.30-04-2007. |
